On Thursday we took the Plate Tectonics Unit Test. Homework is to complete the Earth in Space glossary. On Friday we began our Earthquake Tower Challenge! We went over rules and boundaries for the projects, and pairs on two sketched concept designs. There is no homework. We will begin construction of the towers on Monday. ![]()
Today we studied for the Plate Tectonics test for tomorrow and played a Kahoot review game. Homework is to study for the test. The study guide is attached to Monday's blog entry.
Today we learned about volcanic hot spots. Please watch the following videos and take notes on how, why, and where these occur. Homework is to study for the test on Thursday Welcome back from Spring Break. I hope you were able to find some rest to recharge and come back ready to learn! On Monday we reviewed science fair grades, passed back and reviewed graded Erosion and Deposition Tests, and then learned more details about tsunamis, such as what causes them, how they form, the warning signs, and what to do if one is possibly headed to the coast while you're there. If you were absent, please watch the following video clips and copy my notebook. There is no homework. ***Plate Tectonics test is Thursday. I have attached the study guide. ![]()
