Today we completed Activity 69, Forecasting Weather. Students learned the different symbols of a weather forecast, and about different concepts such as warm/cold fronts and high/low pressure. Students then applied these concepts by choosing a day in the textbook on pages E-88 and E-89. If you missed class today, please pick one of the days (August 24th-31) and create a weather forecast for the state of Iowa on Student Sheet 69.2. Homework is Act. 69 Analysis 1-3. Science Fair proposals are due on MONDAY and the Weather and Atmosphere unit test is on WEDNESDAY. I have attached the study guide.
