Today we summarized Activity 21, and defined the Law of Superposition. If you were absent, you need to find out how geologists know the age of a sediment layer, and what information they are able to gather based on the layer's thickness and composition. I also checked analysis questions and graph from Act. 21 and put it in the grade book for 3.25 points. We then moved on to Act. 22 "Rock Cycle Game" where we learned how rocks undergo change over time. Students played the game, and then answered analysis questions 1-7. This is homework if you did not finish. FORWARNING!!!! We will be taking the Unit Test for Rocks and Minerals around the time Science Fair projects are due the week of March 12. Please begin to prepare and plan accordingly.
