Today we learned about the transformations of water in the water cycle. Students started by making a concept map connecting words by giving as many examples as they could think of for the three physical states of water. Examples for solid include ice and snow, liquid could be rain, rivers, etc. Students then read Activity 60 in their textbook and completed Analysis #2. This is homework if students did not finish. We then watched a clip of the water cycle from the Magic School Bus. While this show was made for younger children, many students were familiar with parts of the water cycle, so I thought it would be a fun way to review some of the concepts. We did not watch the whole episode, though you are more than welcome to if it suits your fancy. ![]()
